A 17-year-old has been arrested after allegedly shooting three people in Times Square early Saturday morning, police said.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. on 44th Street and 7th Avenue when, police believe, the 17-year-old suspect got involved in a dispute with a 19-year-old before shots were fired, according to the New York Police Department.
Three people were shot — a 19-year-old male in the right foot, a 65-year-old male in the left leg and an 18-year old female who was grazed in the neck – but all of the victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital where they remain in stable condition, the NYPD said.
Authorities said it is unclear what the dispute was about and if the victims and the suspect are known to each other.
